Statistics: Russia’s platinum group metals output rises 1.4% in Nov

MOSCOW, Dec 29 (PRIME) -- Russia’s output of unrefined and semi-refined or powder platinum and platinum group metals rose by 1.4% on the year and by 1.7% on the month in November, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday without disclosing absolute figures.

Silver output fell by 11.2% on the year but rose by 1% on the month in November, while gold production went up by 4.1% on the year and decreased by 16.1% on the month in the reporting month.

In January–November, the output of platinum and platinum group metals decreased by 1.4%, of silver went down by 2.2%, and of gold grew by 1.5%.
